Stitched Together: Crafty Corner, Warwickshire
We caught up with Wendy of Crafty Corner in Atherstone, Warwickshire, to find out more about what goes into running a yarn business!
What’s your shop called? Is there a story behind the name?
Crafty Corner! Well, the shop is situated on a corner and when we first took over we had all kinds of crafts. The shop has been here for over 30 years. Now we specialise in yarn with fabric, and we also have dolls houses which I think sets us apart from other shops a little bit.
Where is your shop and what is the neighbourhood like?
Years ago Atherstone was a mining town and was also known for hat making. Now, it’s a lovely little town that’s quite busy with a canal running through.
