Stitched Together: Natural Knitter Wool Shop
We caught up with Caz of the Natural Knitter Wool Shop, to find out more about her shop!
What is your shop called?
Natural Knitter Wool Shop.
Where is your shop?
I am just off the main High St on Friarage St, opposite Marks and Spencers in the lovely market town of Northallerton.
Who works at your shop?
The shop is owned and run by myself, Caz.
What makes your shop special?
My shop is a like a lovely fairy glen, full of gorgeous, soft natural fibres for knitting and felting. There are also lots of felted friends, hares, squirrels, owls and sleepy little mice, dotted around the shop and snuggled into soft hanks of wool.
What are your most popular yarns?
My most popular yarns are Debbie Bliss Falklands Aran and Fine Donegal, Malabrigo, Natural Born Dyers and Town End Alpaca.
Do you have a knitting group?
We have a small and very friendly knit n natter group that meet every Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.
Don’t let knitting patterns scare you or put you off; cast on, get started and figure it out as you go!
COMING UP AT THE SHOP!
Louisa Harding will be here on the 10th December from 10.30 am. to present Yarntelier her new range of pure cashmere! She will give a talk at 11am and then be here to answer questions and show samples.
