Issue 21 – On sale now!
The new issue is out in shops today, and here’s what you’ll get this time around with your favourite knitting magazine!
Issue 21 of Knit Now has us knitting pretty with our collection inspired by tea dances. Feminine shapes, frills and lace are the order of the day, all knit in beautiful lightweight yarn which makes these garments and accessories perfect to cast on now for summer (when it arrives!)
You can whip up a pair of Anni Howard’s wristwarmers (while drooling over some yummy-looking macaroons) or Anna Richardson’s variegated socks with just 100g of yarn! This is a challenge we also set to our designers for the designer challenge – to see what they could come up with from just one ball of King Cole Cottonsoft.
The free gift with this issue is a pretty shawl pin, and if you’re looking for a project to use it on, look no further than Agnes Kutas-Keresztes Mist Shawl.
As well as these gorgeous patterns, we’ve got some great interviews lined up! Gerry Warner of Skiff Vintage Knitting Pattern lets us in on the secrets to working with and adapting vintage patterns and we also catch up with one of knitting’s biggest names, Debbie Bliss. Skein Queen hosts our yarn review this issue and we check out how the summer’s catwalk trends are crossing over into the world of knitting.
As a remedy to coming over all girly this issue, we’ve also procured some of our favourite manly knits for you to get your needles into, with a lot of lovely Navia jumpers from our friends at the Island Wool Company.
Issue 21 is in shops, newsagents and independent stores from today. You can also get it online for the Moremags shop.
